I founded O'Reilly People Management to support leaders who are stepping into management or taking on a senior leadership role.
At the heart of my work, I believe leadership is about people.
The best leaders aren't the ones with all the answers; they're the ones who create clarity, build trust and have the conversations others avoid.
One quote I come back to time and time, again is Brené Brown's: "Clear is kind." I believe people deserve honesty and feedback delivered with compassion. Whether I'm coaching an individual or facilitating a leadership programme, my role is to support leaders to think more clearly, communicate more confidently and lead intentionally.
Before founding O'Reilly People Management, I held the role of Director of Organisational Development & HR at Tourism NI. I have spent over 20 years in senior HR and organisational development roles, partnering with leaders through change, growth and some of the toughest people challenges they'd ever faced.
My experience means I understand the realities of leadership, not just the theory, and this has given me the opportunity to work with organisations across sectors including technology, financial services, education, manufacturing, healthcare, tourism and hospitality, charities and local government.
Today, I support leaders through one-to-one coaching, leadership development programmes and workshops, creating spaces where they can step back, think differently and gain new perspectives. My style is warm, practical and down to earth. I'll challenge people when they need it, support them when it matters, and always create a space where they can be honest, reflect and have conversations that move things forward.
Alongside my business, I also do a bit of lecturing on the undergraduate Human Resource Management programme at Ulster University, supporting students to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
I'm also an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, DISC certified, and I hold an MSc in Human Resource Management.
Outside of work, I'm a very proud auntie to three nieces and three nephews. During the week, you'll usually find me with a strong flat white in hand. At the weekend, I'm happiest enjoying Mexican food and a spicy margarita with my husband, or an ice-cold pint of Harp with friends. When I'm not making the most of Belfast's hospitality scene, I'm usually planning or packing for our next city break.
If you've landed on this page because you're considering leadership coaching, leadership development, support for the team you lead, or a potential collaboration, I'd love to hear from you. I love creating space for leaders to pause, think clearly and leave feeling more confident about what's next. Whether it's for you, the leaders in your organisation, or you'd simply like to explore working together, get in touch below.
Over coffee, virtually or in person. I offer a complimentary 30-minute conversation (up to an hour for more complex needs) to explore what you're looking for, your goals, budget, and timelines.
You don’t need to have all the answers. I’ll guide the process in a way that makes sense for you, with everything designed to deliver meaningful outcomes and make the most of your investment.
Working in partnership to create practical,
people-focused change that sticks.
