Whether you're in an HR role, or you work in finance, operations or office management with responsibility for HR, you'll know that people situations are rarely straightforward.
Having someone impartial you can talk things through with when people situations arise can make all the difference.
When you're close to a situation, it's not always easy to see it from every angle.
Taking the time to talk it through with someone external gives you the space to step back, consider different perspectives, and make measured, well-informed decisions that are right for you, your people and your organisation.
That's where I come in.
I work alongside the people responsible for HR, offering practical support, another perspective and a coaching approach that helps you think clearly and navigate the situations that don't have an obvious answer.
Sometimes that means sharing my experience or offering guidance. Other times, it's asking the right questions, exploring different perspectives and helping you work out the approach that's right for your organisation.
For some organisations, that support is ongoing through a retainer. I take the time to understand your organisation, your people and how you work, so when something comes up, you have someone who already knows the context and can support you to think it through.
For others, it's more flexible. Ad hoc support when a conversation feels difficult, a situation is particularly sensitive, or you simply want to talk something through before deciding what to do next.
However we work together, my aim is the same: to give you the space to think clearly, make sound decisions that are right for your people and your organisation, balancing practical HR considerations with the kind of leadership that builds trust, consistency and a workplace where people can do their best work.
